any ideas welcome

we're still having a heck of a time trying to get her to sleep at night. she usually will sleep fine from about 7-11pm, then eat maybe 2 ounces and goes back to sleep fine. but then she wakes up pretty much the rest of the night anywhere from every 1-2 hours. at times i've resorted to letting her just cry, but i don't want to have to do that everytime. if anyone has any ideas i'm very open to anything.
sincerely,
need to sleep

Laine just started sleeping through the night a few months ago. It will get better the older she gets. I'm a huge fan of swaddling and doing it very tightly. It seems to help. And if you are letting her cry, she'll get used to it, and will eventually stop crying. Gwen (she's 4) still wakes up at least once a night. Drives me crazy. Just find what works for you.

This may sound crazy, but it worked so great for our trio.. We woke them up at night before they had a chance to wake us up. We'd wake them up, feed and change them, play for a little bit, then do it all over again in two hours. After a couple weeks we'd start setting the alarm for 1/2 hr. later each time. then an hr. was added and so on. By 3 mo. all three babies were sleeping from 11pm-5am. by 5mo. they were sleeping from 10-6. I guess subconsiously the kids knew we'd wake them up and feed them so their was no need for them to wake us up. Good luck with whatever you decide to try. And remember " This too shall pass".
